The Mason Arms is a small family run village inn, located in Dufftown, the whisky capital of the world. Half way between Aberdeen and Inverness. It is an ideal base when touring the Whisky Trail and the North East of Scotland.

Decorated with colourful baskets of flowers hanging outside. The Mason Arms stands out in this town of beautiful open and wide streets. The Edmonstone family has owned this attractively furnished and decorated country inn for more than 14 years. It is open all year round.

The Mason Arms welcomes families and offers visitors an extensive choice of wholesome well prepared food served all day. Specialities include local game and steaks.
We offer a good selection of fine beers and a large choice of malt whiskies.
The restaurant is open from 7am to 9:30pm each day with the bar open from 11am to 12:30am, on Fri. & Sat the bar is open from 11am to 1:30 am.

For relaxation there are beautiful walks along the River Dullan which flows through the spectacular Giants Chair. There is a lot of interesting wildlife to be seen in the area.

There are many sporting facilities in and around Dufftown. These include Tennis, Walking, Horse riding, Fishing and Golf. Dufftown Golf Course is situated one mile from the Mason Arms. The course has the highest hole in Great Britain at a height of 1000 feet above sea level. The Golf Club has a new clubhouse with the best facilities a keen golfer would wish for.

The famous Glenfiddich Distillery is just a mile away.
